Cutting Instructions
Real Red: 4 ¼ x 9 ¼ (gift card holder)
Real Red: 1 ½ x 3 (die cuts)
Basic White: 3 x 6 ¼ (inside panel)
Basic White: 3 x 3 ½ (outside panel)
Basic White: 3 x 3 ½ (stamp & die cut images)
Daffodil Delight: scrap (die cut)
DSP: 2 ⅞ x 3 ⅜ (outside panel)
DSP: ½ x 6 (bottom inside panel))
Instructions
- Score the 4 ¼ x 9 ¼ Real Red card stock at 5 ½.
- Turn this piece so the 4 ¼ side is at the top of your trimmer. Score at ½ on the right side. Keep the card stock in this position. Now line your cutting blade at the 5 ½ score line and make a cut along the 5 ½ end (this is the longer end). Turn the card stock & repeat the process on the other side. See Diagram below.
- Use the Paper Snips to cut these pieces off. Cut at a slight angle from the score line down the shorter side.
- Crease along the score lines with Bone Folder.
- Add Tear & Tape to the folded in ½ sides to adhere the shorter end to the top. This creates your pocket for the gift card.
- Sore the 3 x 6 ¼ Basic White card stock at 1 on the 6 ¼ side. Crease along the score line with Bone Folder.
- Wrap the ½ x 6 strip of DSP around the middle of this 1-inch flap so the gap in the paper is at the front. This will be at the bottom of your insert to hold the gift card in place.
- Die cut both 3-petal flower dies from the 1 ½ x 3 Real Red card stock & the small 7-point flower die from the Daffodil Delight scrap.
- Adhere these 3 pieces together to create a flower. Then adhere the flower over the gap where the strip of DSP comes together at the bottom of the insert.
- Adhere the 2 ⅞ x 3 ⅜ DSP to the 3 x 3 ¾ Basic White card stock. Center & adhere this piece to the front of pocket.
- Use Memento ink to stamp the flower & stem image on the Basic White card stock. Color with Stampin’ Blends or the Wink of Stella technique used in my video.
- Paint Wink of Stella on the flowers if Stampin’ Blends were used to color the image.
- Die cut image & adhere with Dimensionals to the center of pocket. Insert the gift card holder into the pocket. Use Old Olive ink to stamp sentiment on the top center of insert.
- Add Blooming Pearls to embellish as desired.
